Mark Zuckerberg used Down The Rabbit Hole to showcase Oculus Quest 2
Last night, Facebook unveiled its latest VR headset, the Oculus Quest 2. In the presentation, CEO Mark Zuckerberg used three games when showcasing the display capabilities, of which Down The Rabbit Hole was one. Beyond Frames’ studios are releasing two games for the new headset on October 13th and 3 more during 2021.
Yesterday at 10 AM PDT, Facebook hosted its annual VR and AR event – Facebook Connect. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg spoke about the company’s investment in VR and AR research and development, where their flagship VR console Oculus Quest 2 was announced. To showcase the new console’s graphical fidelity video material was used from three games of which Down The Rabbit Hole from Beyond Frames’ studio Cortopia was one of them.

”When Facebook released Oculus Quest in 2019, it changed the VR industry, inducing considerable market growth. Facebook’s release of an improved VR console already this year while simultaneously pressing the price by $100 to $299 bodes well for our industry as it undercuts the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It is of course wonderful that our games hold such great standards that Facebook themselves chose to use material out of one of our games when presenting their new hardware”, says Ricky Helgesson, CEO of Beyond Frames Entertainment.
The Oculus Quest 2 can now be pre-ordered and begins to ship on October 13th, 2020. Beyond Frames Entertainment will be releasing two of its existing games, Wands and Down The Rabbit Hole for the new console. Cortopia Studio’s upcoming game and Moon Mode’s newly announced game will both be released on the Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 in 2021. Additionally, Beyond Frames’ associative company Odd Raven Studios will be releasing their existing title ’Carly and the Reaperman’ on both consoles in 2021. ir@beyondframes.com +46 (0)79 100 22 90
